|Recommended: YesPros Cons — HawthorneTwenty-Six is, overall, a great option. It is super clean, staff are incredibly friendly and attentive to resident concerns, and the units themselves are really nice. The downsides are parking availability - can definitely be tricky depending on the day time of day you're looking for parking. Residents or neighbors tend to not clean up after their dogs, so be careful where you step when getting into or out of your car. But my biggest issue is that the walls are paper thin. I can hear everything happening in the units to either side and, most obnoxiously, every single movement in the unit above. It gets old fast - but, if noise doesn't bother you, HawthorneTwenty-Six is a solid choice.

|Recommended: YesPerfect place to call home — We moved in sight unseen and feel so fortunate to have found this building. We hardly ever hear any noise from neighbors, all staff are welcoming and kind. It’s always clean, there’s the cute little coffee shop downstairs, a perfect community room and patio. All in all we feel very lucky to have moved here.

|Recommended: YesI like it here — I like my modern apartment, it has ac and laundry in the unit. Parking in the garage is astronomically expensive, so we have to park on the street and it can be a few blocks away. The maintenance is very professional and they really seem to care about the tenants. I think that the dogs in the building are out of control, and I hear a lot of barking on my floor. It is really annoying and bothers me a lot. I like everything else, but wish they would set a boundary for people to be mindful of their yappy dogs when they leave their apartment for hours.

|Recommended: YesExactly what I need — This apartment is the perfect fit for me. There’s a coziness to the floors which all smell like coffee thanks to delicious coava in the building that makes it feel less like a cold, unfriendly motel experience that some apartment buildings have. The residents are all courteous, and it’s so clean. I don’t have to really think about anything maintenance wise ever, and the folks who run this place are always prompt in handling any questions concerns. It feels safe here inside the building and in the garage even. All in all, a true 10 10 for Portland apartment living when you want a great location and tons of convenience.

|Recommended: YesI have never been happier — From the first phone call inquiry to our move in day the staff has been great and we love the apartment. As someone who loves walking on sidewalks this is the ultimate in walking neighborhoods and our dog loves it as much as we do. I never want to leave.

|Recommended: YesWe love living here — Coming from an old brick apartment with almost no amenities this place is amazing.
Staff is always polite and will answer your questions and the community is well kept and you get a lot at a great value. Also love the high end appliances and kitchen.
My only complaint is not really the properties fault but there is an issue with package theft. I would like a better system in getting the mail carriers to follow instructions and not leave packages outside of lock boxes.
